What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up and operate dynamometers, test rigs, and supporting equipment
  • Install motors, inverters, gearboxes, and units under test
  • Configure sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
  • Run performance, durability, efficiency, and validation tests
  • Monitor tests, identify faults, and ensure safe, repeatable execution
  • Capture, validate, and log test data accurately
  • Support engineers with results analysis and reporting
  • Maintain and calibrate dynos, sensors, and test equipment
  • Troubleshoot rig and equipment issues
  • Help improve test methods, fixtures, and facility capability
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient test environment


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience operating test rigs for motors, inverters, or drive systems
  • Strong electrical and electromechanical fault-finding skills
  • Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analysers, DAQ systems, and insulation testers
  • Good data handling and reporting skills
  • Mechanical / electrical installation and maintenance xwzovoh experience
  • Knowledge of HV safety, lockout/tagout, and safe systems of work
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline


Contract Details

  • Start: End April / Early May
  • Duration: Initially up to 8 weeks (may extend)
  • Hours: Flexible / mutually agreed
  • Rate: Competitive / negotiable
