About the role

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join YouGov’s growing in-house tax function and play a key role in strengthening global tax operations.You will be responsible for tax accounting, compliance, and international tax matters across the Group. This role will support the transition towards a more centralised tax model, improving consistency, controls, and efficiency while reducing reliance on external advisors.You will gain broad exposure across corporate tax, deferred tax, transfer pricing, and global tax initiatives within a fast-paced, international organisation.Key Responsibilities:Tax Accounting & ReportingManage current and deferred tax accounting processes, including reconciliations, journals, and IFRS (IAS 12) reporting requirementsSupport half-year and year-end tax reporting, statutory disclosures, and audit activitiesPartner with Finance teams to ensure accurate tax treatment across Group entitiesTax Compliance & International TaxOversee corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely filings and paymentsReview external advisor outputs and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities where requiredSupport international tax matters including transfer pricing, withholding tax, cross-border transactions, and regulatory developments such as BEPS and Pillar 2Transfer Pricing & Process ImprovementSupport transfer pricing documentation, intercompany processes, and policy complianceDrive improvements across tax processes, controls, and reportingSupport automation and internalisation of tax knowledge to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on external advisorsWhat You’ll BringACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualificationExtensive experience in corporate tax, ideally with a combination of professional services and in-house experienceStrong experience in corporate tax reporting, deferred tax accounting (IAS 12), and multi-jurisdictional complianceExperience working within a multinational organisation and exposure to international tax and transfer pricing mattersStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and tax informationExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams#LI-AQ1Why join YouGov?Join our global team to help us achieve our social mission: to make millions of people’s opinions heard for the benefit of our local, national, and international communities.Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background.
