We offer a collaborative working environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your interests while being part of a committed and approachable team.Main duties of the jobYou will provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to our practice population.Your main duties will include:Provide high-quality, safe and effective clinical care, assessing, diagnosing and managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions within general practice.Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, taking a patient-centred approach and ensuring patients receive appropriate assessment, treatment, advice and follow-up.Support patients with ongoing and complex health needs, taking a proactive approach to preventative care, health promotion and long-term condition management.Work closely with our friendly and dedicated multidisciplinary team, including nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare professionals, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for our patients.Prescribe safely and appropriately, make referrals where necessary, review investigations and results, and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.Contribute to clinical governance, significant event reviews, quality improvement and the ongoing development of practice services.We welcome GPs with a specialist interest and are keen to support the successful candidate in developing their particular area of interest within the practice, where possible.Work collaboratively with the GP partners and wider practice team, contributing to a positive, supportive and hardworking practice environment.About usWe are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our supportive and hardworking team in Gorseinon, Swansea, for 2- 4 sessions per week.You will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community.
