About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking experiencedComposite Trimmers / Fittersto join a leading Formula 1 team based in Enstone. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production and assembly of high-performance carbon fibre components in a fast-paced and precision-driven environment.
Role Overview
As a Composite Trimmer / Fitter, you will be responsible for finishing and assembling carbon fibre components to exacting standards. You will play a key role in ensuring all parts are prepared, finished, and fitted in line with the precise engineering specifications required within Formula 1.
Key Responsibilities
Trim and finish carbon fibre components to precise specifications
Assemble and fit composite parts to engineering drawings and build requirements
Trim, de-burr, and prepare composite components post-curing
Carry out fettling, bonding, drilling, and fitting activities where required
Perform quality checks to ensure components meet required standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Collaborate with engineers and team leaders to meet production deadlines
What Youll Bring (Requirements)
Proven experience as a trimmer and/or fitter within F1, motorsport, aerospace, or high-end composites
Strong understanding of composite materials, trimming, and fitting techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Experience with bonding, assembly, and precision fitting (highly desirable)
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
Flexible approach to working shifts (days, nights, and/or weekends)
Strong team ethic with the ability to work under pressure
