Solar / BESS Project Manager

OXBO are partnered with a well-establish UK Renewable Energy IPP looking to hire a Project Manager to join their growing team in Scotland.

As Project Manager you will lead the delivery of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects from pre-construction through to handover to O&M.

The Role:

• Delivery management of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects.
• Management all aspects of projects, including Construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards across sites.
• Manage grid agreement interfaces, general engineering activities, procuring and contract administration.
• Proactively identify construction risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost.
• Monitor and report deviations to scope, schedule, or budget, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Undertake development and O&M works in order to gain all round knowledge of project life cycles.

What you will bring:

• 3+ years experience within the renewable energy industry, within the delivery phases.
• Solar PV, Batter Storage (BESS) or Onshore wind projects experience(other industries with suitable transferrable skills will also be considered).
• Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.
• Understanding of Grid operators and connection processes.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders and contractor management skills.
• Ability to manager several project tasks at once and able to plan and prioritise. xwzovoh
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
