Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Engineer (Subcontract) – London £270–£290 per Day Outside IR35 Weekly Pay Every Friday 3-Month Rolling Contract Monday to Friday Long-Term Work Available Immediate Start AvailableWe are currently seeking experienced Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Engineers to support a busy service and testing contract across London. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking for consistent subcontract work, with the contract operating on an initial 3-month rolling basis and the potential for ongoing extensions. The role will primarily involve fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing, planned maintenance and identifying faults/remedial works across a portfolio of sites throughout London. Scope of Work The successful engineers will be responsible for: Carrying out routine fire alarm testing and inspections Emergency lighting testing and maintenance Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Identifying faults and required remedial works Basic fault finding and repairs where required Completing test sheets, service reports and associated documentation Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant British Standards and client requirements Working independently and managing a daily workload across London Delivering a professional service while working within occupied buildingsLocation Work will be carried out across sites throughout London.
