About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and personable hospitality professional to join a beautifully designed gastro pub in the West Sussex countryside, just outside of Brighton.

This venue is known for its exceptional food offering, carefully curated wine programme, and warm yet refined guest experience. They are now seeking a strong Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house operation and continue delivering outstanding service standards in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

This role would suit someone with a genuine passion for hospitality, excellent food and wine knowledge, and previous experience within a premium gastro pub or high-quality restaurant setting.

Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the daily front-of-house operation
Deliver exceptional guest experiences with a personable and professional approach
Maintain and elevate service standards across the restaurant and bar
Support, train, and motivate the front-of-house team
Work closely with senior management and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
Drive a strong culture of hospitality, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction
Demonstrate strong food and wine knowledge to enhance the guest journey
Manage reservations, guest feedback, and service recovery professionally
Ensure the venue consistently operates to high operational standards

Ideal Candidate Profile Current or previous experience as a Restaurant Manager within a quality gastro pub or premium restaurant
Strong understanding of food, wine, and elevated guest service
Professional, presentable, and confident leading a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality
Comfortable working within xwzovoh a busy, high-volume environment
Strong organisational and operational management abilities
