At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we're looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team at Larne, helping us keep M&S stores supplied every day.

Pay: £18.3032 per hour basic / £21.9639 per hour unsocial / £23.7942 per hour weekend unsocial
Location: Larne
Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

We currently have opportunities across the following working patterns working out of Larne:

Hours: 40 hours
Sunday to Saturday, rest days Wednesday and Thursday 06:00 start on a Sunday moving to a 03:00 start remaining days

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What you'll be doing

Store Deliveries

As one of our Class 1 Drivers, you'll play an important role in keeping M&S moving.

You'll be completing store deliveries, making sure products arrive safely, efficiently and on time while providing a professional service at every location.

Your day-to-day will include:

Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores
Carrying out vehicle and safety checks
Completing relevant delivery paperwork
Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules
Keeping in touch with our transport team throughout your shift
Representing Gist and M&S professionally on the road and at stores

What we're looking for

You'll need:

A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
A minimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC
A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
A professional and safety-focused approach
A reliable, team-focused attitude
Confidence with manual handling where required
