Main duties and responsibilities
Welcome each guest in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with a memorable experience at The Berkeley. Answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendation.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring to note any special requests or dietary requirement, and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverage promptly and accurately to customers, making sure they receive what they ordered.
Be fully knowledgeable about the Rooftop Pool Bar Menu items, including ingredients, preparation method, and beverage selection. Provide appropriate suggestion based on customers preferences.
Promote additional food and beverage option using upselling techniques, to enhance the customer experience and maximise revenue.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including tables, chairs and serving station. Clear tables, clean up spills, and ensure a tidy and welcoming environment for guests.
Eligibility:
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
