Class 2 Tanker Driver - Night Shifts

Do you hold a current HGV license ? Do you have experience working autonomously in a field environment ? This is an exciting time to be joining A Better Service as we expand in our geographical reach which is supported by our upgraded new tankering fleet. Working across our water contractors as well as our domestic and commercial clients, we are seeking the very best talent to work within our tankering division. Our head office and main location is based just outside Reading and is easily accessible via the M4. Flexible approach to work operating a roster programme which will include both days and nights. Able to work weekends and can commit to a reactive roster schedule at times. Excellent attention to detail in the completion of documentation and data entry. Driving and operating vacuum tanker vehicles. Working on private and commercial properties. Ensuring all jobs are done in line with quality standards. Working directly with wastewater and comfortable in the handling and transportation of hazardous waste. Previous experience of operating a vacuum tanker within the water industry (1 year minimum preferred). Able to commute to our main location in Charvil with access to your own transport. Hold a valid Class 2 license with your CPC up to date. A valid NRSWA & Jetting certification (Preferable but not essential) A continuous improvement attitude towards development and learning. An average hourly rate of £18.36 per hour / £42,952 annually An enhanced overtime rate of £22 p/h A continuous service pay uplift after 2 years going to £19.11 per hour Funded CPC modules to maintain HGV license Free onsite parking Discretionary annual performance related bonus Interviews are held at our main HQ in Charvil and we are very flexible in working a time that suits you and your current work schedule.
