Job Title: Climate Minds NI Project Manager (3-year fixed term)
Employed by: Live Here Love Here
Job Purpose: Directly responsible for driving a new National Lottery Community Fund project (Climate Minds NI) from rollout, delivering promotion and participant recruitment sessions across Northern Ireland, designing and delivering group workshops and seminars, managing and reporting impact along with key relationships. Work closely with a wide range of partners.
Hours of business: Flexible business hours 8am-6pm. Core hours 10am-4pm. Hybrid working policy, 2 days in Belfast office per week.
Location: Field and office based
Hours / week: 37.5 (see below)
Salary: £33,300 per annum
Contract type: 3-year fixed term from August 2026
Staff are contracted to work 37.5 hours. However, Live Here Live Here operates a 4-day working week of 30 hours with staff benefitting from a paid “non-working day”. On occasion you may be required to work on your non-working day. For further information please email jobs@liveherelovehere.org
Purpose of role
The Climate Minds NI Project Manager is a new role in Live Here Love Here, responsible for the delivery of this exciting, new and unique project in Northern Ireland.
Live Here Live Here’s ‘Climate Minds NI’ project has received a long-term commitment from the National Lottery Community Fund to support communities across the UK to act on climate change and involve more people in positive environmental action.
As part of a partnership arrangement between Live Here Love Here, acting as lead partner, and Inspire Wellbeing, the project will give under-represented groups a say in whatclimateaction means for them. This will include supportingindividuals experiencing mental ill health, intellectual disabilities, and addiction, by connecting them withclimateaction staff and volunteers.
The project willestablish 16climateaction groups across Northern Ireland. Through these groups, excluded communities will be empowered to codesignclimatesolutions, strengthen their mental wellbeing, and advanceclimatejustice for underrepresented groups.
The Climate Minds Project Manager will be part of the Community Engagement team in Live Here Love Here. They will be directly responsible for driving the project from rollout, delivering promotion and participant recruitment sessions across Northern Ireland, supporting the design and delivery of workshops and seminars and then managing the project’s impact. They will manage the key relationships with Inspire, the National Lottery funder, and a monitoring and evaluation partner. They will be required to bring on board and maintain strong relationships with a range of topic delivery partners in Northern Ireland.
