Games Design Lecturer

Games Design Lecturer – FE College We are currently recruiting for an experienced Games Design Lecturer to join a Further Education College. Key Requirements * Previous experience teaching Games Design within an FE College * Strong knowledge and practical experience of Unreal Engine 5 * Experience delivering VFX / Visual Effects within a games environment * Relevant games industry experience * Ability to teach practical games design and development skills * Experience supporting students with projects, portfolios and assessments * Relevant Games Design / Games Development qualification desirable * Teaching qualification desirable * Enhanced DBS – ideally registered on the Update Service * Available immediately for full time work The Role You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Games Design sessions, combining your industry experience with practical teaching to help students develop skills relevant to the modern games industry. Areas of delivery may include: * Unreal Engine 5 * Games Design & Development * VFX and Visual Effects * Game Engines * Level / Environment Design This would suit an experienced Games Design Lecturer, Games Development Lecturer or industry professional with previous FE teaching experience who can bring current technical and commercial knowledge into the classroom.
