An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a busy, independent suburban brasserie with a strong fresh-food focus.
This is a fast-paced operation with a fantastic local reputation, particularly known for its busy weekend brunch trade and high-volume Sunday lunches. The business is independently owned, offering genuine creative freedom and the chance to make a real impact on the food offering.
The Role Lead and develop a small, close-knit kitchen team
Drive standards, consistency and kitchen organisation
Oversee all aspects of service across brunch, lunch and dinner
Create seasonal specials and contribute to menu development
Maintain strong GP controls and kitchen compliance
Deliver quality fresh food in a high-volume environment
Whats on Offer £14 per hour
45-hour contract
Equivalent basic salary of approximately £32,760
Plus circa £3,000 tips
Plus £2,000 bonus
Full menu autonomy
Independent operator with no corporate structure
Stable, established business with strong local following

Proven fresh food background essential
Comfortable leading busy services
Strong brunch and Sunday lunch experience preferred
Passionate about quality ingredients and standards
