Head of Management Accounts

Marc Daniels are working with a growing and highly successful organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Management Accounts to lead their management accounting function. This is a highly visible leadership role, responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting, leading a sizeable team, and driving continuous improvement across management accounting processes and controls. Responsibilities Lead, develop and mentor the Management Accounts team, fostering a high-performance culture. Take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results. Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities in partnership with senior stakeholders. Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance, highlighting key variances, risks and opportunities. Ensure robust balance sheet controls and reconciliations are maintained across the finance function. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting quality, efficiency and control. Lead and optimise the month-end close process, reducing timelines and improving output quality. Partner with operational and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making.
