Derivatives Associate (Lawyer)

A top-ranked team is in growth mode and looking to add a mid-level associate as it continues to expand. This is a relatively lean team within a global platform, which means less layering and more direct exposure to partners and clients. You’ll be involved in a broad mix of high-value, cross-border work rather than being siloed into one product area.

The work includes:

• OTC and structured derivatives across asset classes
• ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA and related trading documentation
• Structured note and securitisation programmes
• Regulatory matters (EMIR, MiFID II, BMR)
• Digital asset, tokenisation and DLT-related projects

Clients include leading banks, asset managers, hedge funds and market infrastructure providers.

Requirements:

• England & Wales qualified (or equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction)
• 2–7 years’ PQE with a strong derivatives / structured products background
• Experience with ISDA and related trading documentation
• Comfortable handling multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness
• Interested in building client relationships and developing longer-term
