Construction Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Estimator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Construction Estimator role Salary: £60,000 Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday 8.30am-4.30pm Responsibilities of the Construction Estimator * Prepare cost estimates, tender pricing and bid submissions * Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation * Obtain and analyse quotations * Quantity take-offs and cost analysis * Highlight potential risks * Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors * Support project handovers Requirements for a successful Construction Estimator * Previous experience in estimating within commercial/industrial construction * Solid knowledge of construction methods and materials * Competence in interpreting technical drawings and specifications * Strong numerical ability alongside analytical and communication skills * Skilled in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software * Capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
