Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a construction project in Knottingley. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering requirements on site, working alongside the Site Manager and wider project team. Site Engineer duties will include: • Setting out and surveying works on site • Checking line, level and dimensions • Working from construction drawings and specifications • Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records • Completing as-built surveys and associated documentation • Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors and other engineers • Identifying and resolving technical issues on site • Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with specifications Site Engineer requirements: • Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on UK construction projects • Strong setting-out experience • Experience using total station/GPS surveying equipment • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings • Good understanding of construction site health and safety • Relevant engineering qualification or demonstrable industry experience • Valid CSCS card This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer looking for work in the Knottingley area.
