Support Worker / Care Assistant – Leicester Location: Leicester, LE4 Pay: £12.71 per hour Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week Shifts: Days and nights Brookes HC Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Support Workers and Care Assistants for a residential care service in Leicester. This is a full-time opportunity for compassionate, reliable people who can provide person-centred support and contribute positively to the lives of those using the service. Shift pattern Applicants must be flexible to work both day and night shifts: * Days: 7:45am–8:15pm * Nights: 7:45pm–8:15am Please only apply if you are genuinely able to work a combination of days and nights. Responsibilities * Supporting people with their daily routines * Providing respectful personal care when required * Promoting independence, dignity and choice * Supporting emotional and social wellbeing * Following individual care plans * Maintaining accurate records * Working closely with colleagues to provide safe, consistent care * Following safeguarding, health and safety and medication procedures Requirements * Previous care or support work experience is preferred but not essential * A compassionate and respectful approach * Good communication and teamwork skills * Reliability and flexibility * Willingness to complete all required training and pre-employment checks * Availability to work both days and nights * An existing right to work in the UK Sponsorship is not available for this position.
