Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant Mid Sussex | Primary School | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity Academics Agency are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Mid Sussex. This role would suit someone who is confident supporting children who may experience challenging behaviour, emotional regulation difficulties or SEMH needs. The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group behaviour support Helping pupils manage emotions and regulate their behaviour Building positive and trusting relationships Supporting pupils to engage with learning Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Providing a calm, consistent and nurturing approach The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting children with behavioural or SEMH needs Calm, patient and resilient Confident managing challenging behaviour Able to build strong relationships with children Experience in a school, SEN, youth work or support setting is desirableThis is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to pupils who need additional support to thrive in the classroom.
