Fabric Maintenance Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Fabric Engineer to join a growing facilities maintenance team working at Barnet Hospital. Initial contract term 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across multiple sites
Perform general building repairs including basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and patch repairs
Inspect and report on building fabric condition and defects
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Liaise with site contacts and helpdesk teams to update job progress
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsibly
Requirements
Previous experience in fabric engineering, building maintenance, or a similar trade role
Strong all-round xwzovoh maintenance skills (carpentry, patch repairs, basic plumbing/painting)
Ability to work independently and manage daily workload
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of health & safety procedures on site
