Role Overview: Were looking for a senior Sales Development Representative who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders in small, medium and large organisations.
Your job is to:
Start intelligent conversations
Understand technology and delivery challenges
Identify active or emerging initiatives
Arrange high-quality meetings for senior sales leaders to progress
Youll work closely with senior leadership and act as the first trusted point of contact for potential Spyrosoft clients. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities: Outbound & Prospecting
Proactively research and engage target organisations using phone, email, and LinkedIn
Secure conversations with CTOs, Heads of Engineering, CIOs, and senior technology leaders
Tailor outreach based on industry, company context, and role
Discovery & Qualification
Uncover:
Current technology challenges
Planned or emerging transformation initiatives
Delivery capacity or scaling constraints
Qualify opportunities based on relevance, timing, and fit
Meeting Setup & Handover
Book high-quality, well-briefed meetings for senior commercial leaders
Provide clear context and insight ahead of meetings (challenges, drivers, priorities)
Ensure handovers support strong conversion and meaningful follow-up
Pipeline Contribution
Maintain accurate HubSpot CRM records and opportunity context
Contribute to early pipeline creation through well-qualified opportunities
Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and leadership teams
Any other reasonable requests in line with your job role
Skills and Experience: Essential
46+ years experience as an SDR/BDR in technology, software, or IT services
Proven experience engaging senior technical and business stakeholders
Strong discovery/qualification skills - you know how to ask the right questions
Confidence discussing technology challenges (engineering, delivery, transformation)
Comfortable working autonomously and owning outcomes
Excellent spoken and written communication
Highly Desirable
Experience in software consultancy, professional services, MS/MVP partner, or similar
Background selling into mid-market or enterprise organisations
Familiarity with technical delivery models (teams, augmentation, transformation, cloud, data, AI)
Experience qualifying complex, multi-stakeholder deals
What this role is not
Not a junior appointment-setting role
Not a script-reading or high-volume call centre SDR
Not focused on vanity metrics like call counts
Personal Attributes
Highly self-motivated and results-driven with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly
Resilient and persistent, able to handle rejection and maintain momentum in a high-volume outreach environment
Commercially aware with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer needs
Proactive and organised, with strong time management and prioritisation xwzovoh skills
Confident and professional, able to represent the business effectively with senior stakeholder
Additional Information
Base salary: £35,000£45,000 (depending on experience)
Commission: Uncapped based on percentage of net-profit
OTE: £50,000£55,000
