About the role
We are looking for a Befriender Volunteer to provide meaningful companionship at our domiciliary care service in Camden. Volunteering with Creative Support is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person-centred care.

We're seeking someone who is warm, sociable, and a great listener. As a Befriender, you'll spend time with the people we support, offering conversation and companionship through regular meet-ups. Activities might include getting out and about in the community, going for walks, or simply spending enjoyable time together. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy and you can offer a few hours on a regular basis, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a supported living service, offering personalised care and support to individuals with a range of learning disabilities.
Volunteer duties:
- Meet on a regular basis
- Provide companionship and conversation whilst respecting boundaries
- Help people we support to engage with the local community, supporting xwzovoh social inclusion and encouraging independence
- Report any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members
- Understand and work within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries
- Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided
Hours: Monday daytime or Friday morning
