We support Cognizant engagements across all client industry verticals.Our unique team engages with senior customer stakeholders, to translate strategy and vision into digital journeys, across modern technology estates, specialising in data engagements.What will you do?We are looking for enthusiastic Data Engineers with 3-10 years of expertise in the Data Engineering space with eagerness to learn and deliver large complex Digital Transformation programmes across UK & Ireland. As a Data Engineer you will have worked on Data Integration into Cloud Data Warehouses or Data Lakes, programming, APIs, etc. in an Agile environment.Your key responsibilities will be:Identify and analyse user requirementsPrioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycleDevelop new applicationsWrite well-designed, efficient codeReview, test and debug team members’ codeEnsure our applications are secure and up-to-dateWhat experience are we looking for?Work experience as a Core Java Developer or similar roleExperience designing, building and testing Java applicationsIn-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVCGood time management skillsProblem-solving abilitiesExpertise or exposure to the following will be good to have else we will be enable you with the required trainingAWS Glue and Data Catalog, EMR, Athena, S3, Redshift / RDS, Kafka/Spark, AWS Security, IAMOR Azure Data factory, Azure Data bricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW & Azure SQL, Azure Storage, HDInsight (Spark/Kafka),Azure Event Hub, Azure AD/IAM and Data CatalogORCloud DataFlow, DataPrep, CloudSQL, BigTable, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Kafka/Spark, Google Cloud IAMWhy should you apply?
