About the role
We have the opportunity for a new vacancy of Procurement Intern to join the European Corporate Procurement team.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Central Procurement team who will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and on-boarding of suppliers into ARIBA, our procurement and supplier management platform. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in procurement operations, supplier management, and digital tools in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier On‑boarding
- Assist with supplier data collection, validation, and entry into ARIBA.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Monitor the progress of on‑boarding and follow up to address delays or issues.
- ARIBA Implementation Support
- Provide administrative support during ARIBA supplier implementation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions to the ARIBA platform.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in supplier profiles and information.
- Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date supplier records.
- Generate reports to track on‑boarding progress and highlight areas for improvement.
- Communication and Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding ARIBA‑related queries.
- Support the Procurement team in coordinating training sessions or informational meetings with suppliers.
- Process Improvement
- Assist in identifying inefficiencies in the on‑boarding process and propose solutions.
- Support team initiatives to optimize the supplier implementation process.
Education and Experience
The successful applicant will currently pursue or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred experience
- Familiarity with ARIBA or similar procurement platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles is advantageous.
