We are recruiting a CECS Administrator
£12.75 per hour Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Temporary - ongoing
Locations: Lisburn
We are recruiting a CECS Administrator to support the Regional Community Equipment and Continence Service (CECS). This is a key administrative role providing a single point of contact for clients across HSCNI, helping to ensure the effective delivery of equipment and continence services in the community.
The Role
You will work as part of a busy, dedicated team handling enquiries, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries and collections of community equipment and continence products. The role involves regular liaison with healthcare professionals, suppliers, drivers, and members of the public, ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for clients via telephone, counter service and ring-back system
- Input and maintain accurate requisitions and records across electronic systems
- Schedule and coordinate equipment and continence product deliveries and collections
- Liaise with Occupational Therapists, District Nursing teams and other professionals
- Prepare collection paperwork and arrange returns of equipment for credit
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and service issues
- Maintain waiting lists and support stock control activities
- Provide general administrative support to supervisors and management
Essential Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Experience
- Minimum of 12 months' relevant experience in a customer service, purchasing, procurement or logistics environment
- Experience using patient administration systems and/or order processing systems
- At least one year's experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook (or similar)
- Qualifications
- Five GCSEs (Grades A -C), including English Language and Mathematics,
OR an equivalent qualification demonstrating literacy and numeracy,
OR higher qualifications
- Five GCSEs (Grades A -C), including English Language and Mathematics,
- Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage, analyse and record information accurately
- Professional, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
