Aztrum is delighted to be working with a well-established, design-led architectural practice based in Kent. The studio is known for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the capital, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence, collaboration, and innovative design solutions.
The practice is seeking an Architectural Technologist to support the delivery of residential and fire remediation projects across a range of stages. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an intermediate-level professional to develop their technical expertise while contributing to complex schemes within a supportive and technically driven team environment.
Responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist role:
Support the technical delivery of residential and fire remediation projects across multiple RIBA stages, particularly Stages 3–5.
Assist in the preparation and coordination of technical design packages for high-rise and multi-occupancy residential buildings.
Produce detailed technical drawings and construction information using Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to support the smooth delivery of projects.
Assist with the coordination of project information and help ensure documentation aligns with UK building regulations and fire safety standards.
Support project teams across multiple live schemes, contributing to programme delivery and project milestones.
Participate in design team meetings and assist in addressing technical queries during the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills and Experience for this Architectural Technologist role:
3–6 years’ experience working within a UK architectural practice.
Experience working on UK residential projects, ideally including multi-occupancy or high-rise developments.
Good understanding of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and technical design processes.
Experience using Revit to produce detailed technical drawings and project information.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within project teams.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to technical design and project delivery.
