Family Solicitor

An established regional law firm is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join its thriving team, handling a varied caseload of privately funded family matters.

The firm is an established regional heavyweight law firm with over 100 years history, with a strong presence in the South East, offering a broad range of legal services to individuals and businesses. The firm promotes a supportive and collaborative working environment, with an emphasis on staff development, flexibility and work-life balance.

The role would suit a solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE who is confident managing their own files and wants to develop their experience within an established practice.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of privately funded family matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings and private children matters.
• Advise clients on separation, financial settlements and arrangements for children.
• Draft applications, statements and other relevant legal documentation.
• Negotiate settlements and work towards resolving disputes where appropriate.
• Maintain direct client relationships throughout each matter, providing clear advice and managing cases through to conclusion.
• Excellent progression pathway from Senior Associate / Partner

About You

• Ideally 4+ years’ PQE in Family Law, up to a more experienced level.
• Experience handling privately funded family matters.
• Able to manage your own caseload and advise clients independently.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client communication skills.
• A genuine interest in developing your practice within an established regional firm.
