Aluminium/Steel TIG Welder Location: West London Salary: Competitive + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Our client, a highly respected manufacturer of advanced scientific equipment, is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their growing production team. Working within a precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for producing high quality TIG welds on a variety of aluminium and stainless steel components used in specialist scientific systems. Responsibilities * TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel components * Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications * Fabricating and assembling precision metalwork to a high standard * Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality requirements are met * Supporting manufacturing and assembly activities as required * Maintaining a safe and organised working environment * Collaborating with engineers, machinists and production staff Requirements * Proven TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable * Experience welding thin gauge materials * Fabrication and sheet metal experience * Previous experience within scientific, aerospace, defence, vacuum or high technology manufacturing environments * Relevant welding qualifications What's on Offer * Permanent position with a growing technology business * Interesting and varied technical work * Modern manufacturing facilities * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for training and career development If you are an experienced TIG Welder looking to work on high precision products within a cutting edge engineering environment, we would like to hear from you
