Payroll Executive

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a reputable business based in central Manchester who are looking for a Payroll Executive to join their growing team on a permanent basis. For this role, it is essential that you have experience in dealing with high volume bureau payroll.

As a Payroll Executive, your main duties and responsibilities include:

Umbrella payroll - Process weekly payroll for contractors using umbrella arrangements, making sure tax and deductions are correct.
Payroll bureau work - Run payroll for multiple clients, including RTI submissions and issuing payslips.
HMRC compliance - Follow all payroll rules, handle P45/P60 tasks, and deal with HMRC when needed.
Supporting clients and workers - Answer payroll questions from agencies and contractors in a clear, friendly way.
Accurate data management - Keep payroll records up to date, manage starters and leavers, and use New Millennia's systems correctly.
