In this role, you serve as a core technical contributor, promoting critical technology solutions across multiple domains and business functions, ensuring that our foreign exchange trading and services platforms effectively support the firm's strategic objectives and the evolving needs of our clients.\ NJob responsibilities\ N\nExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems\ NDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others\ NIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems\ NLeads evaluation sessions with internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture\ NLeads communities ofpractice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies\ NAdds to team cultureof diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect\ N\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\ N\nSenior-level experience in Java backend development with JDK8+, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture.\ NExpert in Core Java,multithreading, low latency, scalability, and backward compatibility.\ NSkilled in managing complex codebase with a focus on performance and maintainability.\ NHands-on experience with messaging APIs, including Kafka and IBM UM MQs.\ NProficient in TDD and BDD, using mocking APIs and Cucumber.\ NStrong knowledge of Oracle database design and PL/SQL.\ NPractical experiencein system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.\ NProficient in automation and continuous delivery methods.\ NAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.\ NAbility to mentor junior developers, resolve technical issues, and support production systems.\ NStrong communicationskills, Ability to articulate technical solutions to Business and non technical audience. \ NDemonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes (cloud, AI/ML, etc.).\ N\n Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\ N\nDevelopment experience with Highly available 24/7 applications.\ NKnowledge of FX Trading Application and Payments domain.\ NKnowledge of Co-pilot and AI Agents to gain productivity on repeated tasks. \ N\nABOUT US\nJ.P.
