About the role As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be working alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning and development, both in whole-class settings and with small groups or individual children. Duties may include: Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery Working one-to-one or in small groups with pupils, including those with SEN Helping to prepare learning materials and resources Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development General classroom support to ensure a positive learning environmentWhat we're looking for Previous experience working with children (in a school, nursery, or similar setting) is desirable but not essential A relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is beneficial but not required for all roles A patient, caring, and adaptable approach Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)Why work with Simply Education?
