Goods In Assistant

About the Role We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods In/Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, checking incoming goods, updating stock records, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or stores experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and has a good eye for detail. You'll play an important role in keeping stock accurate, supporting production requirements, and helping to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse operation. Salary | Competitive    Hours | 8:00am to 4:00pm | Monday to Friday | Total hours 37.50 per week.    Duties Include: Receive and book in deliveries from suppliers. Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders. Unload, sort and organise stock within the warehouse. Update stock information on the company system. Carry out basic quality checks on incoming goods. Move stock between warehouse locations and ensure accurate stock records. Help manage non-conforming goods and arrange returns when required. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. Support with stock control and continuous improvement activities. What We're Looking For: Previous warehouse, goods-in or stores experience - essential. Good attention to detail and accuracy - essential. Basic IT skills and confidence using stock management systems - essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team - essential.
