About the role
Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Transport Clerk to join our clients logistics team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring smooth communication across supply chain operations.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within logistics management and contribute to the efficient movement of goods.
This is a temporary to permanent position offereing the opportunity of a permanent contract for the right candidate after a successful trial period
Due to the nature of the work, ability to speak polish is advantageous!
Pay & Benefits:
£15.00 - £17.00 per hour Depending on experience
Monday to Friday
11.00am - 19.00pm
Weekly pay whilst working through Cotswold Talent Solutions
28 days paid annual leave (including bank holidays)

Duties:
Utilise transportation management systems and other relevant software to schedule and track shipments.
Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to arrange transportation and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
Input data accurately into various systems, including data entry tasks related to supply chain operations.
Analyse shipping data to identify trends, delays, or inefficiencies, providing reports for management review.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers via phone and email, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
Assist in organising logistics schedules, optimise routes, and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely arrivals.
Maintain organised records of all transportation activities in accordance with company standards.
Skills:
Proficiency in transportation management systems is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Excellent analysis skills to interpret shipping data and identify operational improvements.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
Polish speaking is advantageous
Competent data entry skills with high accuracy in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements.
Ability to operate efficiently using systems like Supply Chain Management software and analyse logistical information effectively.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
