Website Project Officer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor to support the delivery of statutory and voluntary repair programmes across Glasgow’s private housing sector particularly our older tenement buildings. You will act as Contract Administrator, providing technical advice and ensuring repair works to tenement properties are delivered to required standards of quality, compliance and sustainability. The role involves working with homeowners, contractors, Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and internal and external stakeholders. You will also support the Affordable Housing Supply Programme (AHSP) and Affordable Warmth initiatives, including reviewing proposals, drawings and specifications, and undertaking site inspections. A background in Building Surveying (or similar) is desirable, along with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a varied workload. This is a key role contributing to the preservation and improvement of Glasgow’s pre- 1919 tenement housing stock, supporting the delivery of sustainable housing and Net Zero targets.
