We are seeking experienced Principal Mechanical Engineers to lead on a series of high-profile projects across multiple international locations, which include:
- Data centres and mission critical facilities
- Infrastructure projects
- Large-scale industrial facilities
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, building services engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects, or large-scale industrial facilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA/BSRIA design stages and construction processes.
- Experience in leading and managing the production and delivery of all aspects of mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
- Experience in sustainable design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration, and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
- Thorough understanding of mechanical technical design for all RIBA stages. Including carrying out calculations, strategy development, project coordination, controls and commissioning, H&S and risk management and technical design delivery.
- Experience in training and mentoring engineers.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in mechanical calculation software.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards chartership.
Beneficial skills:
- Experience in project financial management, administration and fee bids.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks.
- Experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery
