Interim Damp Surveyor - Surrey Council Surrey (Hybrid - office & site) 6-12 month contract £350 per day (Inside IR35) A Surrey-based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Interim Damp Surveyor to support their repairs team. You'll join a small, growing team focused on improving damp and mould response and overall property standards. The Role Carry out inspections for damp, mould, and building defects Diagnose issues and produce reports and remedial specifications Manage contractors to ensure quality, cost, and delivery Ensure compliance with housing standards and H&S regulations Work closely with internal teams to resolve cases efficiently About You Experience in damp & mould surveying within social housing/local authority Strong knowledge of building pathology and property maintenance Confident managing a mobile, site-based workload Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Why Apply Supportive team with growth plans Hybrid working (office + site) Strong day rate and long-term contract If you would like to know more about this role, please get in touch
