Damp and Mould Specialist

Damp & Mould Surveyor – Public Sector Housing We’re seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to support a residential portfolio within the public sector. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving damp, mould, and condensation issues, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and meet Awaab’s Law requirements. Key Requirements: * CSDB or CSTDB qualified (essential) * Experience working within social housing or local authority environments * Strong knowledge of building pathology, moisture ingress, and ventilation issues * Understanding of health & safety and housing compliance standards Key Responsibilities: * Carry out detailed property inspections to identify damp and mould issues * Diagnose root causes and specify effective remedial works * Manage cases through to completion, liaising with residents and contractors * Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate records A great opportunity to make a real impact on housing quality and tenant wellbeing
