We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Relief Head Chef / Cook to join our friendly team in a small residential care home based in North Devon.
Position Details:
Role: Relief Head Chef / Cook
Location: North Devon
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Hours: 8-hour straight shifts
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Relief / Temporary
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking nutritious, home-style meals for residents
Managing kitchen operations during shifts
Ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety
Catering to dietary requirements and preferences
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef or cook (ideally within a care or similar setting)
A valid DBS certificate (essential)
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Strong understanding of food hygiene xwzovoh standards
