Job Title: Forest School Lead
Hours: Part time, 3 days per week
Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview
As a Forest School Lead, you will plan, deliver, and manage outdoor learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and independence in children.
You will play a key role in bringing learning to life outdoors, supporting children’s development through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences in nature.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Forest School sessions across early years and school-age groups
* Develop and implement a structured Forest School curriculum through regular outdoor learning sessions
* Lead nurture-based sessions supporting children’s social, emotional, communication, and behavioural needs
* Promote outdoor learning, curiosity, risk awareness, and independence
* Support and guide volunteers or additional staff assisting with sessions
* Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and safety standards at all times
About You
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, nurturing and passionate about outdoor learning and child development. xwzovoh
You will have:
* A Forest School Leader qualification (essential)
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
* Experience working with children across early years or primary age ranges
* Strong understanding of EYFS and child development principles
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A calm, caring approach with strong empathy and patience
* Confidence delivering structured outdoor learning sessions
