A welcoming school in Derby is looking for a teaching assistant to join its supportive team. This role is recruited through Empowering Learning.

The role

Support pupils in class, working with individuals, small groups and whole classes
Help pupils stay engaged, confident and ready to learn
Support children with additional needs, including SEN, alongside the class teacher
Help prepare resources and keep the classroom organised and positive
Encourage good behaviour in line with school policyAbout you

A recognised teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3), or proven experience as a TA in a UK school
A calm, patient and reliable approach
A genuine commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
A good team player who takes direction well
Right to work in the UK
