Senior Sous Chef - Crave Restaurant

Crave is an ambitious, independent restaurant in the heart of Exeter, known for bold flavours, high-quality ingredients, and a passionate team. We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our kitchen and play a key role in driving standards, creativity, and consistency.
This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone ready to step up and help shape a growing kitchen.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Leading service with confidence and maintaining high standards under pressure
Training, mentoring, and developing junior chefs
Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes
Managing stock, ordering, and minimising waste
Upholding food safety and hygiene standards
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
Passion for fresh, quality food and seasonal menus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
A positive attitude and team-first mindset
High standards and attention to detail
