About the role
We’re recruiting a hands-on Senior Operator to operate and support production on the HPR's (High Pressure Reactors). You’ll help ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards from raw material input to finished product.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and support the HPR process/equipment and associated machinery
* Carry out production work safely and in line with procedures and compliance requirements
* Monitor performance, spot issues early, and help troubleshoot to minimise downtime
* Maintain high product quality and follow quality control checks
* Check work orders for discrepancies and resolve/pass items to the correct area
* Support sampling/work with R&D/technical when required
* Complete production records and documentation accurately and on time
* Maintain strong housekeeping and good working practices
What We’re Looking For
* Experience operating manufacturing plant equipment (chemical processing experience is ideal)
* Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements
* Quality-focused approach with an understanding of meeting specification requirements
* Ability to follow procedures and support compliance
* Good problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
* Confident with completing records/documentation and working with computer systems
Qualifications / Licences
* Counterbalance forklift truck licence (must have)
* HPR experience (desirable) — training can be provided
* First Aid and/or Fire Warden trained (or willing to train)
