About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing, exclusive company that creates immersive experiences blending music, theatre, and cinema. Their productions are renowned for pushing creative boundaries and delivering unique, unforgettable moments that captivate audiences. As the company continues to expand rapidly, they are seeking a commercially minded Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help drive growth, optimise operations, and scale the business to its next stage of success both in the UK and internationally.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working as a key member of the leadership team, the COO will take ownership of the commercial performance, strategic planning, and operational delivery of the business. You will play a critical role in shaping the company’s future - ensuring that its bold creative ambitions are matched by solid commercial foundations and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial strategy of the business, driving revenue growth across ticketing, partnerships, sponsorships, and new ventures
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient delivery of multiple high-end live events and productions
- Develop and implement business plans and growth strategies, aligned with the company’s vision and expansion goals
- Collaborate with the CEO and Finance Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including partners, investors, venues, and creative collaborators
- Implement scalable systems and processes across production, logistics, and commercial functions
- Oversee and optimise venue leasing, property hire, and site management, where applicable.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a growing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience within live events, entertainment, or experiential industries
- Proven commercial track record, with the ability to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Strong understanding of ticketed events, pricing xwzovoh strategies, and audience engagement
- Skilled in strategic planning, operational oversight, and business scaling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in venue leasing, property management, or site operations is highly advantageous
- Background in touring, festivals or large-scale productions is beneficial, though not essential
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach
Pay range and compensation package
- £100,000 – £140,000 salary, depending on experience
- Equity participation in the business
