Transport Supervisor

Transport Supervisor Up to £36,000 Alexander Steele Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a successful FMCG business in their search for a Transport Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with all transport regulations. You'll lead and support a team of Transport Planners, monitor fleet performance, maintain high service levels and drive operational excellence across the transport function. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise daily transport operations and delivery performance * Oversee route planning and scheduling activities * Lead, coach and support Transport Planners * Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company standards * Support fleet availability, maintenance planning and driver safety * Monitor KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities * Act as a key liaison between drivers and internal stakeholders Key Requirements: * Experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role * Strong knowledge of fleet operations and transport compliance * Experience managing and developing teams * Excellent organisational and communication skills Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:30-18:00 (with occasional weekend cover)
