Graduate Specialist Program – Supply Chain

Rexroth is one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of drive and control technologies. Under the brand name of Rexroth the company supplies customers with tailored solutions for driving, controlling and moving industrial applications, factory automation equipment, mobile applications and renewable power generation.
At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery
- To acquire an in-depth insight and understanding of the Supply Chain function within Bosch Rexroth with the possibility of being placed in various areas within the Supply Chain, Purchasing and Procurement environment.
- Undertaking technical and project tasks along with operational and strategic responsibilities.
- Together with us, you will gain experience of our diverse product and service portfolio and get to know the Supply Chain business as well as our internal development processes.
- Provide key support to audits and essential revalidations.
- Support supply chain teams with their objective to deliver constantly high availability of products, as per the agreed service levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop innovations to products, supply chain or service workflows to generate additional value to both parties.
- Keeping accurate records, setting up new lines, demand planning, transferring stock and answering calls and enquiries
- Project work for inventory & cost reduction measures
- Process concessions for logistics issues
- Range reviews, data tracking and price comparisons
- Education: Master’s degree in supply chain management / business and/or Engineering
- A rising star looking for a fulfilling career with Supply Chain industry
- Software and IT knowledge: Preferably experience or knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system, Conversant in Microsoft office products.
- Experience and know-how: Challenging industrial internships or initial work experience in a technical environment.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, high level of self-motivation and commitment, enjoys contact with customers and suppliers, enjoys new ideas, goal and result orientated and a team player.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel at home and abroad
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages
