Join us as aLift Service Engineer We are looking to recruit for a Lift Service Engineer to work as part of the local team based in South London, supporting our customer communications, compliment and supporting the management team. The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance regimes as determined by the contract terms to on portfolio lift equipment.   Your main responsibilitiesCarry out routine servicing of lift equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components and in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, 2+ etc) To rectify and reduce faults on lift equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning Checks to include, speed, motor start/stop, noise temperature and power supply using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment Carry out the routine inspection, adjustment, of installations in accordance with approved procedures. Reinstate lift and complete service documentation Carrying out fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service Competence is required to make effective use of written or graphical information What you bringExperience in lift Servicing/ Maintenance/ Repairs preferredQualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in lift maintenance or equivalentAdvanced Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, including Multi-Brand equipmentAdvanced problem-solving skillsFull UK driving LicenseThe ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and within efficienciesThe ability to work independently with a flexible approachGood communication skills at different levels (Client/Service Leader/Inspectors)Manual dexterity - Requires the use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate various hand and power tools and to record written informationProven fault finding and diagnostic skillsWhat’s in it for you?Competitive salary with a discretionary annual bonusCompany car or allowance (for eligible roles) 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidaysPension scheme with 5% company contributionComprehensive life assurancePrivate medical cover with a trusted provider, plus 24/7 virtual GP accessFree eye tests and eyewear discounts Your CareerBecome part of our team, help us enhance quality of life and drive innovation while raising the bar for safety and sustainability.
