General Labourer - Metal Preparation Location: S25, Sheffield Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in S25, Sheffield, is looking to recruit a General Labourer to join their Metal Preparation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or metalworking environment who is looking for a stable, full-time role with immediate starts available. The Role Working as part of the production team, your duties may include: Preparing metal components for production and finishing processes Cleaning, grinding, sanding and deburring metal parts Loading and unloading materials safely Assisting fabricators, welders and machine operators where required Carrying out basic quality checks on finished components Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area Following all health and safety procedures What We're Looking For Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or metal preparation environment A positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative Good attention to detail Must be able to reliably commute to the S25 Sheffield location What's On Offer? £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends Immediate start available Ongoing work with a reputable employer Supportive team environment If you're a reliable individual with some relevant experience and a great attitude towards work, we'd love to hear from you.
