Senior Engineer – RC Frame & Groundworks London & South East £65,000 - £85,000 + Package / Benefits About the Company Our client is an established RC Frame and Groundwork contractor operating throughout London and the South East. With a strong reputation for delivering complex reinforced concrete frame and groundwork packages, they continue to secure repeat business from a number of leading developers and main contractors. Current projects range from £10m to £50m and cover residential, commercial, student accommodation and mixed-use developments. With a healthy pipeline of secured work and further projects due to commence this year, they are continuing to strengthen their engineering team. About the Role Due to healthy order books and company expansion, there is need for an experienced Senior Engineer to support the delivery of RC Frame and Groundwork projects across London and the South East. As the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the engineering function on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with programme requirements. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and subcontractors whilst overseeing setting out, quality control, temporary works coordination and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will take a leading role on a major RC Frame and Groundwork project whilst supporting and mentoring Site Engineers within the team. This role offers a genuine opportunity to progress into a Project Manager position as the company continues its planned growth over the coming years. About the Requirements * Previous experience working for an RC Frame, Groundwork or Civil Engineering contractor. * Experience as a Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer on RC Frame and Groundwork projects. * Strong setting out and surveying experience. * Good understanding of reinforced concrete construction and groundwork packages. * Experience managing technical information, QA procedures and engineering teams. * Proficient with Leica surveying equipment and AutoCAD. * Degree or HNC/HND qualified within Civil Engineering or a related discipline. * Full UK Driving Licence.
