services that have a direct impact on the public. Its in-house legal team
supports a wide range of enforcement, litigation and regulatory matters,
providing lawyers with the opportunity to work on complex cases that have
genuine public importance.The team is
collaborative, supportive and highly regarded, offering exposure to advocacy,
tribunal proceedings, investigations, public law and regulatory enforcement
work. Your new roleThe organisation is seeking either a Legal Officer (NQ-2 PQE) or a Lawyer (3+ PQE) to join the team. The level of
appointment will depend on your experience and background. You will provide
legal advice on enforcement and regulatory matters, support or lead litigation
and tribunal proceedings, manage relationships with internal and external
stakeholders, and contribute to the effective delivery of legal services across
the organisation. For
those joining at Legal Officer level, this role offers an excellent platform to
develop litigation, advocacy and regulatory law experience with support from
experienced lawyers. For candidates joining as a Lawyer, there will be greater
responsibility for managing complex cases, providing strategic legal advice and
handling higher-profile matters. What you'll need to succeed Qualified Solicitor,
Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive. Strong legal research,
analytical and drafting skills. The ability to provide
clear, practical legal advice and exercise sound judgement. Excellent communication
and stakeholder management skills. A collaborative approach
and the ability to build effective working relationships across a range of
teams. An interest in or substantial experience of litigation, regulatory enforcement, tribunal proceedings,
investigations or advocacy. For appointment at Lawyer
level, experience handling more complex litigation, enforcement or
regulatory matters will be expected.
