Legal Counsel - 12 month Contract

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel on a 12-month contract to join its high‑performing legal team and provide commercial legal support across the international business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, customer agreements, NDAs, outsourcing agreements, and partnership arrangements
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders across multiple departments
• Support contract lifecycle management, including template development and process improvements
• Ensure contracts and business activities comply with applicable laws and financial services regulations
• Advise on legal risks associated with commercial arrangements and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with sales, compliance, and risk teams on contractual matters
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related legal queries
• Support all data protection analysis
• Contribute to the development of internal policies and legal guidance

You will have a minimum of 1 years’ PQE (Commonwealth or equivalent) with strong experience in commercial contracts. You will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
